The aim of the IASA research grant is to encourage research and publication on audiovisual archiving by supporting some or all of the project costs. Applications are only accepted from IASA members. Research can, but need not, form part of an academic programme. The level of financial support will be determined by the Executive Board individually on a case by case basis, but individual awards will not normally exceed Euro 2000. All costs are eligible if the applicant can show clear justification for them within the scope, aims and purposes of the project.
IASA will support a research project only if there is evidence that the results are within the scope of IASA’s objectives. See these at http://www.iasa-web.org/iasa-constitution
Applications must be sent in writing (by letter or e-mail) to the Secretary-General by 31 January of each year. All applications received by that time will be submitted to the Executive Board at its mid-year Board meeting (usually held in February/March) for discussion and approval. Applicants will be informed of the result as soon as possible after the Executive Board’s decision has been reached.
